If you've been here for awhile - you may have noticed that I change out our coffee table situation quite a bit! 😬😬😬 We have a tiny living room & it's difficult to have it set up where it's open enough to walk through, functional for comfort & allows enough seating for guests & ourselves. - If there was one major thing I could change about our house, it most certainly would be the living room to make it bigger! But that would require a serious add on which isn't in the near future 🥴, so instead I'm still making small changes to make this small space work! 😊
The plan is to get new furniture before the end of year! We plan to get two matching love seats across from each other with the coffee table in the center as it is now. We had a round table, but it stuck out too far & blocked a lot of walking space. So I decided to use an old wood chicken crate that I found at a flea market, added legs that I spray painted white & made it into a shabby chic, farmhouse coffee table! 🐓😊🤎 It flows perfectly with the french country look in our home, allows room for getting around & of course it's great to set things on when needed!🍷👌🏼😜
Check your local Facebook marketplace for vintage chicken crates to find a decent deal!! 🌾🐓😘
Some people roll their eyes when it comes to farmhouse style decor, but that's ok. I love that this particular interior style is practical, affordable & can be achieved in so many creative ways!
