Cozy Christmas Dining Nook 📜🎄🕯

One of my favorite spots to decorate is our cozy little dining nook that’s just off of our main kitchen area 🖤😌🕯🍽 It’s important to me to have a cozy space to entertain throughout the holiday & winter season & I wanted share the details of our space so you too can be inspired for the holiday season! 😊 &&& get the opportunity to score some of these pieces on sale just in time for all the Christmas parties!!! 😘🎄

This MASSIVE scroll with one of my favorite holiday tunes is from a beautiful shop in Ohio called the Cottonwood Shanty 🖤📜 The shop owner, Alyssa has impeccable taste with a great selection of scrolls to choose from! These scrolls are very high quality & ship very fast too! I love the statement they add to a room without being super heavy on a wall! I hang mine up with command strips to avoid a nail hole in the wall!

- Ruffle Table Runner: I scored this creamy linen runner at HomeGoods for $14.99 & use it all year around! Def checkout your local Homegoods location to score some beautiful, affordable table runners!

- Pine Garland: The pine garland featured on the table is a 9 foot garland I purchased it at Walmart for $15. Unfortunately, it is now sold out & no longer available. However, you could use real pine garland that would give a great smell or any affordable garland to go down the center of a table.

- Brass Trumpet Candle Holders: Over the last year, I’ve been collecting a ton of brass candlesticks from thrift stores like Salvation Army or Goodwill or even at garage sales with plans to use them come Christmas time! - Yes, I’m that crazy lady that plans out her Christmas decor in advance almost a year out 🤪😅🎄 - I always find these brass candlesticks at least under two dollars at thrift stores and they make the dining space so cozy & inviting 🕯❤️ They’re great on a table scape or could be used on a fireplace mantle! With the holiday season being in full swing, a lot of thrift stores have the brass candlesticks out so there is still definitely time to score these bad boys out at the thrift stores before the holiday parties coming up! //P.S - these are great too because they aren’t in your face or in the way of guests at the dining table!

The beautiful neutral tone Christmas bulb garland is from one of my favorite local shops nestled in downtown Jackson, Michigan called the Rustic Market Co. ❤️ It’s never a cheap trip when I visit because I scoop up so many goodies!

//Dining Table & Chairs

Table - My hubby custom built this dining table for me inspired by the one from Joanna Gaines’ collection at Pier 1. As much as I loved hers, it was wayyy over our budget & too big for our tiny space. I’m excited to have such a special piece in our home that my husband built with his own hands.

French Country Chairs - I scored these chairs on clearance at At Home for only $37 each - reg $130 - hugely regret not buying more of them tho 🤦🏻‍♀️

Wicker Bench - This wicker bench is actually a piece from my outdoor furniture that’s by Better Homes & Garden at Walmart. I purchased it on clearance at the end of season for next summer, but I needed something else for seating at the table so I just gave this a try. The brown wicker bench brings a great cottage, outdoor rustic element amongst all the glam style decor. I made it more cozy by adding pillows.

Farmhouse Bench - this custom farmhouse bench was made by my friend Brenda‘s husband, Terry. They sell these beautiful, handmade, high quality benches at a local shop in downtown Tecumseh at Another Vice & Company 🖤

A TON of changes have been made in this space since we’ve moved into our home, but honestly with each change I just think it gets cozier & cozier 😌🕯🖤 I’m forever grateful to be home for the holidays 🕯🎄🏡 ❤️ &&& no matter what you consider to be - home 🏡 - I hope you are happy to be there too! ❤️
