Winter Vibes Fireplace Decor

After several comments & private messages received - I thought I might as well make a post on where to shop the decor featured on my fireplace for winter! :)

I was pretty early on putting my Christmas decor up - not even two weeks into November & our place was full of the holly jolly spirit! While I loved having a house full of buffalo plaid, I was ready for the clean, simplicity look once it all came down....

.... You see - January thru March are my least favorite months. It's cold, dreary & with no fun holidays to look forward to 😔 It's truly just depressing. However, my goal was to still keep a bright, but cozy winter vibe in our little place to keep our spirits hopeful throughout the winter!

Check it out -

My fireplace was just the mantel in pieces that I bought from a double wide off of the Facebook Market Place. My husband bolted it all together and we purchased the faux brick background to give it a more realistic feel. Overall - it only cost me $50 between the fireplace & the faux brick. Looking for one similar? Try Facebook Market Place or shop the ones I almost bought on Amazon!

As mentioned above ^ I really wanted simple decor after all the holiday plaid, but In addition to simplicity, I really wanted budget friendly as well. To make it within the budget - I went to the store that has aisles off decor with sales for days - Hobby Lobby! (aka the mother of all home decor stores) Click the links to purchase the exact decor I used -

P.S - NEVER pay full price for anything at Hobby Lobby! If you're shopping & see something you love, BUT it's not on sale - Come back next week! Hobby Lobby rotates their sales every other week! So if it's not on sale this week - it will be next week! Absolutely NEED it right now? Online & on their app is a 40% off coupon for one regular priced item!

Wood Pedestal Galvanized Candle Holders -

[White candles from Dollar Tree]

Antler Candle Holder -

These are left over from our wedding almost two years ago & I still used them all over in our house! The style I have on my mantel is no longer available but here is a similar one..

Glass Jugs -

I have been wanting glass jug vases like this for awhile now! Not only do they work for my winter decor, but I'm looking forward to styling them in the spring with some lavender! I love the added twine - it just finishes them off!

Pine & Sprigs-

The pine & cotton sprigs are not on Hobby Lobby's website, but they are available in store in the floral department!

I purchased 2 pine sprigs for $2.99 each & put one in each vase.

The cotton was only a $1.99 a piece & I had actually purchased these for my fall mantel back in September & just decided to carry them over into my winter

Clear Candle Hurricanes with white stones-

The white stones & clear glass hurricanes are from the Dollar Tree. My original intention, was to put candles in the hurricanes, but once I was home & started filling the vases with the stones - I just decided to roll with it. I probably will end up putting candles in them, but for now it works!

I've featured this Michigan based company a few times on my blog, but in case you still haven't shopped their site - be sure to check out Motor City Creations for all their amazing work! In addition to phenomenal handmade work - they have great customer service & better prices than I've seen anywhere else!!

The one I have is a little bigger than the one featured on their website, BUT they do take custom orders if you're looking for a larger size! 😘

My 'Mrs.' coffee mug is by the famous Rae Dunn! You can usually score pieces from her at Homegoods, TJ Maxx or Marshall's!

"Less is more." That's the motto I was living by when it came to creating my cozy winter vibe space! Less decor is more & even less money spent can equal out to be more! Andddd despite the frigid temps - I hope everyone has a happy & cozy winter ! Thanks for reading <3

XOXOXO
